Microsoft Office never makes mistake?? No, it does!! Yes Microsoft Excel 2007 is not working properly in some of the multiplications. It seems Excel 2007 spreadsheet has to revisit the multiplication tables.
When the MS Excel 2007, latest release in MS office 2007, was used to do some multiplications it gave wrong results. In a Blog post, Microsoft employee David Gainer said that when the Excel 2007 was used to multiply some combination of numbers the result of which lies between 65534 to 65536, it gave incorrect answer as 100000.

Specifically, till now Excel is malfunctioning between this range only and Microsoft is sweating hard to sort this out. Gainer also added that Excel is calculating correctly at the back end but when it comes to displaying the answer it shows 100000. So cross check while working on Excel now on.
