WordPress has officially launched the new blogger-to-WordPress blog migration tool (source: WordPress blog). Now you can import your posts from new blogger platform to WordPress blog which is not possible earlier. This is great news for blogspot bloggers who want to shift their blog to wordPress blog but switched to or using new blogger platform. You’ll find it in the same old place ->Dashboard ->click Manage ->Import ->Blogger. If you find any trouble in doing so, click the Feedback link in your admin pages, to inform the WordPress about the trouble. Goto WordPress.com

Yahoo site explorer, like Google Webmasters tools site, has updated its site authentication system by adding an option of verification of site or blog by adding META tag in the home page of submitted site/blog to Yahoo site explorer. This is great relief for blogspot bloggers and other bloggers who don’t have the access on blogspot server. Now blogspot bloggers can authenticate their blogs in Yahoo site explorer by pasting a verification META tag in their blog(s) and can get the detailed information about performance, error of their site/blog.

Yahoo site explorer has also started a live badge for Yahoo site explorer users to show the other sites linking to their blog or site. Go and authenticate your blog or site now

This will good for less known blogger like me to improve your Alexa and Technorati rankings, there is also great possibility that other bloggers, whose blog(s) showcased in 2000 bloggers link may link to your post(s) or subscribe to your feed or blog roll your blog if they find your blog interesting.

There is only two requirements for submission of blog to showcase your blog at 2000 Bloggers link: 1. You must have a photo of yourself somewhere on your blog, and 2. Your blog must have been created prior to January 1st of 2007. But we prepared to wait atleast fifteen to twenty minutes when Tino’s blog comment page starts to load as it has more than 1000 comments with thumbnail photo of bloggers. (I am on 256 Kbps connection)
